Large Scale Paintings on Cardboard

8 large scale paintings of famous cyclists on cardboard which first adorned the entrance to the Spin London bike show in 2017. They were later sold to a private client. I portrayed a series of cyclists chosen in some way for their notoriety, remarkability or particular struggle in the world of cycling:  Marco Pantani, “Il Pirata”, Major Taylor, Abdoujaparov, Beryl Burton, Bernard Hinault, Nicole Cooke, Eddy Merckx and – last but not least – Lance Armstrong
